There are rumours Roma have the winning bid for Fabio Borini and Bologna will keep Alessandro Diamanti.

The two players will only discover their fate at 10.00 UK time on Saturday morning, when the sealed envelopes in the blind auction will be opened.

According to the latest reports, Roma placed a €4.9m bid for the remaining 50 per cent of Borini’s contract, beating Parma’s supposed €4.26m offer.

If this is the case, then the Giallorossi would own the striker outright.

Parma had been hoping to buy back Borini so they could then sell him on to Liverpool.

The rumour mill also suggests Bologna have won the blind auction with Brescia for Diamanti, who is also on international duty with Italy at Euro 2012.

It is claimed Bologna offered €3.36m compared to Brescia’s €3.1m.

The real figures will only be ascertained when the envelopes are opened on Saturday morning.
