The former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”3″>Fiorentina boss has previously spoken of a desire to one day return to club management, but speculation looked to have ended before Euro 2012 with the Italian Football Federation’s declaration that he would see out his contract until Brazil 2014.

However, in looking ahead to tonight’s European Championship semi-final with Germany that he has taken the Azzurri to, Prandelli has again suggested that his future is not that clear cut.

“I have a contract that ties me to the national team until 2014 and with everyone I have a very nice relationship.

“I have always said that I miss [club football], once we finish the European Championships then we will evaluate things,” the 54-year-old tactician told Rai today in a pre-match interview, before turning his attention to the game and his players.

“I feel good for tonight, we are ready. It’s a game of high emotions and great expectations. Despite the problems posed, we will not give up the quality we have in midfield.

“When we began the adventure at Coverciano there were certain setbacks, but the priority has always been the group. We have been isolated and have arrived at this point – it’s an amazing achievement.

“The sentiment that I have for this Italy is that the rapport has returned with those who follow her and love her.

“Germany are a nation who have managed to plan for the future, we must try to do the same.”
