Jean-Francois Gillet has played down rumours of a transfer this summer from Bologna to newly-promoted Torino.

The Belgian goalkeeper has been tagged in recent days as a possible reinforcement for the Turin outfit as they prepare for life again in the top flight.

However, the 33-year-old has denied that after 11 years with Bari, he would be prepared to make a second move in as many seasons.

However, the 33-year-old has denied that after 11 years with Bari, he would be prepared to make a second move in as many seasons.

“I have no reason to find a new club, I’m very happy at Bologna and I do not see really why I should leave this city,” he told La Derniere Heure this week.

“I was also voted best goalkeeper in the League by the national sports dailies.”
