Simon Kjaer could be back in Serie A again next term, with Fiorentina the latest club reportedly prepared to take the Dane on.

Former Palermo man Kjaer returned to the Italian top flight last term, in the form of a loan deal with Roma, during which he made 21 League appearances.

However, in light of poor form during that stint and the Giallorossi’s subsequent allowance to let the deadline agreed with parent club Wolfsburg to make his transfer permanent, the centre-back is being paired with other options.
