Inter and Sampdoria have still not found an agreement over the permanent transfer of Andrea Poli to the San Siro.

The midfielder, who will be 23 in September, spent the 2011-12 season on loan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Despite only appearing in 18 League games, the Beneamata want to take full ownership of the former Under-21 international.

The two clubs held talks on Thursday, but no agreement was reached and negotiations will continue.

“We spoke about Poli,” Doria sporting director Pasquale Sensibile noted. “However, we’ll have to see each other again in the next few days.”

There have also been reports that the newly-promoted outfit are interested in re-signing Giampaolo Pazzini – a player they sold to Inter in January 2011.

“We didn’t discuss Pazzini with Inter,” Sensibile continued. “If new boss Ciro Ferrara asks for him then we can talk about it.”
