New Milan signing Kevin Constant is confident that his club are still in a position to fight for the Scudetto.

The Diavolo will have a much-changed squad in 2012-13 after a host of players left at the end of their contracts, while Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were sold to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Losing those two players is a big blow, but we believe in our chances of winning the Italian championship as we are,” the 25-year-old stated.

The midfielder moved to Milan on a loan deal from Genoa, a year after the Rossoblu signed him from Chievo Verona.

Milan are expected to purchase a new centre-back and a new forward to cover for the losses of Ibra and Thiago Silva.
