Felipe Melo has urged Galatasaray to agree a transfer fee with Juventus so he can remain in Turkish football.

“My love for you and for Galatasaray made me accept the offer made to me,” the Brazilian tweeted to fans. “Now Galatasaray should show they want me and find an agreement with Juventus”

The Brazilian international, 29, joined the Turkish club last summer in a loan move at a cost of €1.5m. A buy-out fee of €13m was agreed.

However, Galatasaray have so far refused to match that amount and are trying to negotiate a discount with the Turin giants.

Melo had a stellar 2011-12 campaign, netting 12 goals in 36 games as his side won the Turkish championship.
