The Argentine was signed from Instituto for €12m and presented to the media this afternoon.

“I thank everyone for the wonderful welcome. My objective is to have a great season with the Rosanero,” said the forward.

“During the negotiations I was always calm, as I knew my agent would do everything for my best interests. In a club like Palermo, I can really grow as a player.

“I also met with Coach Giuseppe Sannino and he really made a good impression on me.”

Dybala has been nicknamed the ‘new Sergio Aguero,’ though is unimpressed with the moniker.

“I like to be considered Paulo Dybala and that is all. I don’t want comparisons with Aguero.”
