Juve director general Beppe Marotta yesterday phoned Pazzini, whom he signed for Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”14″>Sampdoria while with the port club, to apparently confirm their interest in him.

While the former Fiorentina player is likely to be in favour of a Turin switch, convincing Quagliarella to leave his current outfit may be more problematic.

Quagliarella has been linked with a departure this summer given that he is not assured of first team football in Turin.

The former Napoli player, paired with Zenit St Petersburg yesterday, is contracted to the Bianconeri until June 2015.
