Emiliano Viviano’s move to Fiorentina remains in the balance. “Inter’s attitude is incomprehensible,” blasted Maurizio Zamparini.

The goalkeeper is co-owned by Palermo and Inter, but has been looking to finalise a transfer to the Viola for several weeks.

The two clubs are seemingly engaged in a dispute over how much it will cost to release the player, as Palermo wish to buy out Inter’s 50 per cent and then loan him to Fiorentina.

“Inter’s attitude is incomprehensible to us,” slammed Palermo President Zamparini on Radio Radio.

“Massimo Moratti does not want to give the player to Fiorentina, as he expects to be paid, but we are dealing with the Della Valle brothers here and not some peasants.

“As owners of half Viviano’s contract, we want to send the lad to Florence. I am sure Fiorentina will buy him next summer.”

It is reported Palermo wish to pay €3m to buy out the remaining half of Viviano’s ownership, but Inter are holding out for €4m.

“A solution could be that I buy out all of his contract and then hand him over to Fiorentina. However, I need them to make an effort and set a paid loan with option to buy.

“This is a normal enough state of affairs. We are not talking about a Lega Pro side that gets players loaned to them for free.”
