According to Sky Sport Italia, Aquilani left Rome today in order to reach Liverpool to start pre-season training.

However, a meeting is planned between Fiorentina and Liverpool tomorrow, so if all goes well then Aquilani will be flying straight back again.

It is claimed Liverpool will agree to release the Italian international for €5m and he’s ready to accept a three-year contract worth €1.8m per season.
