Rumours had emerged that Massimiliano Allegri was looking at the forward to replace the PSG-departed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As quoted by Milannews, Llaneza denied that a deal for the player was already in place between the two clubs.

“Rossi to Milan? This is the first I’ve heard of it, so what is there to say?

“It is clear that there is nothing to say in regards to this. There is nothing.”

The 25-year-old New Jersey native has been at the Yellow Submarines since 2007.

In April he injured his anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee for the second time in a year and is expected to be sidelined until March.
