“We’ll wait for the boy to be operated on and then we will have a more definite understanding of the situation,” Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori told Calcio News 24.

“It’s certainly not good news, but Chievo already have some valid alternatives even if we will evidently miss Alberto.

“Could we sign a replacement? We’ll see what his recovery time is expected to be and then we’ll make a decision.”
