Bojan Krkic has questioned his treatment by former club Roma at his official unveiling as a Milan player.

The Spanish international was speaking at a press conference at Milanello, having left Rome after only a season at the Stadio Olimpico to join the Rossoneri on a one-year loan deal.

“My relationship with Roma was weird from the beginning. I didn't get to play much. I didn't reach an agreement with Roma, and then Milan offered me the opportunity to play. It's an honour for me to be here.

“I am here at Milan to stay. I want to do well here and help the team. I am here for a year, but I want to stay after my loan deal expires next summer.

“It has been incredible for me since day one. The players here have really given me a great welcoming.”

The product of Barcelona's La Masia academy went on to tease the Diavolo fans, by revealing that a current Blaugrana player wants to join him in Italy.

“Someone from Barca said that he wants to join Milan, I can't say who it is though. I often speak with my former team mates there, and they're all very happy for me.”

“Barca have given me a lot, both on and off the pitch. All these things will help me stay at a great club like Milan.”

Bojan confirmed he would wear the No. 22 shirt.

Milan travel to Bologna on Saturday looking for their first win of the season.
