Line-ups: Pescara-Palermo

Gian Piero Gasperini is looking for his first Palermo points this afternoon against a Pescara side without a victory.

Both these teams have only a point to their names and go head-to-head for the first time in Serie A history, kicking off at 17.30 UK time. Click here for a match preview.

Palermo are in turmoil after sacking Coach Giuseppe Sannino, as replacement Gasperini lost his debut 1-0 to Atalanta on Sunday.

He is forced to do without Mauro Cetto, Eran Zahavi and Milan Milanovic, the latter ruled out for a month.

Fabrizio Miccoli is still not 100 per cent fit so starts from the bench, but despite President Maurizio Zamparini’s complaints, €12m summer investment Paulo Dybala is again left out of the starting XI.

Pescara grabbed their first point of the campaign in a 1-1 draw with Bologna on Sunday, despite playing the final half-hour with 10 men.

Goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli came off the bench to save a penalty in that game and starts today as Mattia Perin and defender Christian Terlizzi are suspended.

On the injury list are Francesco Modesto and Alessandro Crescenzi, while Juan Fernando Quintero and Gianluca Caprari support lone centre-forward Ante Vukusic.
