The striker had been dropped for their last Serie A game, but netted twice in tonight’s 4-2 victory away to Genoa.
“It’s an important win,” smiled the striker. “We didn’t take the right approach in the first 20 minutes and went 2-0 down, but then our hunger to win emerged and we were able to turn it around.
“We played a great game this evening both in terms of the football and our determination. If we continue playing like this, then we can win many games. I always put the right grit and determination into every game.”
Osvaldo showed off a T-Shirt during his celebrations and revealed what the message represented. “I dedicate the goals to my mother, as it is Mother’s Day in Argentina.”
