Fabio Quagliarella has committed his future to Juventus after seemingly opening the door for a move to Roma.

The Italian international was yesterday quoted as saying that he’d like to work under Giallorosso boss Zdenek Zeman.

But, via his Facebook page, the forward – who was left in the stands for last night’s Champions League tie against Nordsjaelland – insists a transfer is not in his mind.

“I wanted to explain that my words have been misinterpreted,” he argued. “I responded to a question about Zeman like any other player.

“He is a Coach who preaches an attacking brand of football that allows all of his forwards to express themselves in a good light.

“But I have no intention of leaving Turin. It is a fantastic city, I’m happy here with Juventus, a club whom I have won things with.”

Quagliarella, 28, has three goals in seven games across all competitions so far this season.
