Defeated Del Neri remains calm

Gigi Del Neri insists he knows what he has to do after losing his second successive game as the new Genoa boss.

The Rossoblu, after a setback against Milan on his debut, fell to a 1-0 home reverse to Fiorentina on Thursday evening.

“I need to give this team an identity, a style of play,” explained the former Sampdoria and Juventus tactician.

“However, that is difficult right now because I am without some important players such as Marco Borriello, Bosko Jankovic and Marco Rossi.

“Once I get these players back from injury then I am certain that we will be a much more defined team.”

Genoa travel to Siena this weekend.
