Diego Fabbrini warned this week he could leave if he didn’t get more playing time, but has now officially extended his Udinese contract until 2017.

The Under-21 international’s agent suggested he had asked for more space at the Stadio Friuli and that a January move was not out of the question.

However, this evening Udinese released an official statement confirming Fabbrini has put pen to paper on a contract extension.

He is now tied to the Friulani until June 30, 2017.
