Antonio Candreva has revealed that he will remain with current club Lazio until at least June 2014. “I’m not going back to Udinese.”

The midfielder is co-owned between the capital outfit and the Bianconeri, but he has no intention of a return to Friuli.

“Before I signed for Lazio in the summer, I spoke in secret with Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo,” he commented to Il Tempo.

“I went to Udine and told him that I no longer had any intention of playing for Udinese. I had to extend my contract with them until 2014 in order to facilitate my switch to Lazio.

“I want to stay at Lazio until 2014 and that is what will happen. They know that at Udinese.”

Candreva, back in the Italian international set-up, has scored three goals in 13 League games for the Biancocelesti this term.
