Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has admitted that he would like to face Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Blaugrana defender has claimed that he does not care who they play in the knockout stages, after they qualified top of Group G with a 0-0 draw against Benfica yesterday.

But the 34-year-old did concede that the Rossoneri are always a team that catches his eye.

“We do not care who our next rival is,” he told a Press conference. “However, you know that I like to play against Milan.

“They are a team that I admire.”

Barca played Massimiliano Allegri's side four times in last season's Champions League, meeting twice in the group stages and again in the quarter-finals, where the Spanish side went through 3-1 on aggregate.
