President Silvio Berlusconi announced Robinho “is changing his mind” about leaving Milan for a return to Brazil.

The striker has been repeatedly linked with a January exit to Santos, although there is also interest from Corinthians and Flamengo.

“I want him to stay here with us, as he is a good man and a great player with wonderful technique,” Berlusconi told Milan Channel during a visit to the training ground.

“I speak to him often. He said some things that are making me understand he’s changing his mind and could stay.”

While Berlusconi’s comment was meant to be reassuring, it effectively confirmed that Robinho is intent on leaving San Siro.
