“I think that I can play in front of the defence,” the summer signing from Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”7″>Fiorentina told Milan Channel on Thursday.

“By working on it for a while I do think that I can do a job there, but I’m being used as an outside central midfielder for now.

“I am at the disposal of the Coach so it will therefore be up to him to decide where to field me.”

The Italian international joined the Diavolo on a free transfer, but his new club have had an inconsistent start to the season after some notable summer sales.

“The League table is still quite tight,” he added. “We are close to the top spots.

“We have to continue playing well and winning games, only by doing that can we start to climb the standings again.”

The Diavolo are seventh in Serie A, eight points away from the top three and 17 shy of leaders Juventus.
