Pioli prepares for Bologna dogfight

Stefano Pioli feels today’s trip to Genoa is “a head-to-head relegation dogfight” for Bologna.

Only four points separate the teams going into this weekend and the Rossoblu are eager to stay out of the drop zone. Click here for a match preview.

“We are facing a Genoa side that will want to win at all costs, as it is a head-to-head relegation dogfight,” said the Coach.

“However, we trained well over the Christmas break and are ready for this game. We want to reach the halfway stage of the season in good shape and make up for the last game of 2012.

“That defeat to Parma was also a relegation head-to-head, so we are extremely motivated to make up lost ground.”

Diego Perez is suspended, joining the injured Henry Gimenez, Manolo Gabbiadini and Cesare Natali.
