Brescia President Gino Corioni will offer legendary Italian Roberto Baggio a route back into football.

After Baggio was recently linked with the Coach’s job at former club Vicenza, another of his ex-sides are showing an interest in the now 45-year-old.

“I’ll invite him to dinner over the next few days and tell him of my idea for him,” Corioni told the Giornale di Brescia.

“He knows what there is here for him. There is a good project for him, one which will allow him to get back into the frontline of football.

“If Baggio wants to return to Brescia – and I’m convinced that he wants to – then it will be up to him what to do here.

“We are at his complete disposal and we’ll find him a role. Brescia has the need for a personality like him.”

Baggio ended his career at the Stadio Rigamonti in 2004 after initially joining the now Serie B club in 2000 from Inter.

The former No 10, who has the necessary qualifications to Coach, scored 27 goals in 56 caps for his country.
