Lazio have confirmed that Inter are keen on signing reserve goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo this month.

The Nerazzurri are looking for a new custodian after Luca Castellazzi had surgery following a dislocated shoulder.

“Yes, Inter have asked us about Carrizo,” President Claudio Lotito told Italian website FC Inter News. “But they haven’t made us an offer yet.

“Is he available? Nobody is untouchable at this club. That’s the case for Carrizo and any other player here.

“But if Inter want Pablo then they’ll have to pay for him.”

Carrizo, 28, joined Lazio in 2008 from River Plate, but he was unable to maintain his place in the first team.

He has only featured in the Coppa Italia this season after spending the second part of last season on loan at Catania.

Lazio have already sold Tommaso Rocchi to Inter this month.
