It was a dramatic ending to the semi-final second leg, as Arturo Vidal thought he’d forced extra time in stoppages until Floccari nodded in a corner 60 seconds later.
“This game gave me goosebumps,” grinned the striker. “We had been waiting so long for such an important result and I am extremely satisfied to have given my contribution to the team.
“It is a marvellous win and we want to enjoy this moment right to the end. Our reaction to Vidal’s goal was excellent.”
Lazio will play the Final on May 26 at the Stadio Olimpico against either Roma or Inter.
“It doesn’t matter who we face, as we are just extremely happy at achieving this objective.”
