“I grew up in Genoa and managed to get into the national team playing for them,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“The Genoa shirt has a great emotion for me. I hope to someday return there because I was so happy playing for them.
“I feel good in Russia, but you never know. Anything is possible in June.”
