Pescara have given up on their appeal to sign Pajtim Kasami from Fulham, as he has officially joined Swiss side Luzern.

The Swiss Under-21 international had a deal all signed and sealed with Pescara on transfer deadline day, but the paperwork did not go through because the internet and fax machines in the Ata Hotel broke down.

All transfers in Serie A have to go through the Ata Hotel, where the market is based with stands for each of the clubs.

Pescara lodged an appeal to the Lega Serie A and the FIGC, but the decision is not expected for another eight days.

Kasami feared being left at Fulham, so accepted a loan to Luzern until the end of the season, as the Swiss transfer window closed on Friday evening.
