Lotito: Zamp looking short-term

Lazio President Claudio Lotito has admitted that he would not take the same approach to running a football club as Maurizio Zamparini.

The Rosanero chief fired Alberto Malesani after 19 days in charge yesterday, only to re-hire Gian Piero Gasperini.

And the man in charge of the Biancocelesti has claimed that he has at the other end of the Presidential spectrum.

“When it comes to changing a Coach you have to defend the decision until the end,” he told Radio 2.

“I think this one was made looking at the short-term, but I prefer to look at the long-term effect.”
