Cagliari-Sampdoria will be played behind closed doors on Sunday, but Blucerchiati Coach Delio Rossi complains “it’s just not football.”

This is a relegation dogfight at the Is Arenas, but the continuing problems over the stadium mean only friends and family of the players will be allowed into the stands. Click here for a match preview.

“In my view, this is a problem,” said Rossi in his Press conference. “Playing behind closed doors is like kicking off at 12.30pm – it’s just not football. We’re going to have to be good with our heads as well as our feet in that environment.”

Samp have Daniele Gastaldello and Nenad Krsticic suspended for this trip to Sardinia.

“I will have the opportunity to see who really belongs at Sampdoria. Eder had a bit of flu this week, while Gianluca Sansone is better after a fitness problem.

“Maxi Lopez? We are all fighting for our future and that includes him. It doesn’t matter what we’ve done in the past, but what we still have to do.”
