Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with an offer for Genoa-owned goalkeeper Mattia Perin, who is on loan at Pescara.

The 20-year-old earned praise for his performances in his debut Serie A season, even though his side are bottom of the table.

“There are many clubs interested in him, Arsenal, Barcelona and Milan. It has also been said about Juventus” data-scaytid=”28″>Juventus, Napoli and Roma,” agent Moreno Roggi told TMW.

“Currently however, there is only one certainty about Mattia’s future. He will return to Genoa at the end of the loan and there is a mutual intention for him to spend at least one season in a Genoa shirt.”

Genoa have suggested Perin’s price-tag is €20m – around £17m – but over the last couple of weeks he has been dropped by Pescara in favour of the more experienced Ivan Pelizzoli.

Perin is also not first or even second choice goalkeeper for the Italy Under-21 side, but is considered the brightest prospect for the Azzurri.
