“It will not be a decisive match, seeing as we have others that are even more important after this,” said Colantuono.

“However, we mustn’t think this will be easy, as we need the same attitude we showed to beat Siena. I expect our opponents to work hard, but with a new Coach starting this week the rest will be a mystery. Pescara are a side who deserve respect, as they have a very good front line.”

Luca Cigarini is back in the squad after more than a month, but is only ready for the bench, while Carlos Carmona is suspended.

Guglielmo Stendardo, Giampaolo Bellini, Lionel Scaloni and Guido Marilungo are injured.

Atalanta squad for Pescara: Consigli, Frezzolini, Polito; Brivio, Canini, Contini, Del Grosso, Lucchini, Raimondi, Stendardo; Biondini, Bonaventura, Brienza, Cazzola, Cigarini, Radovanovic, Troisi; Budan, De Luca, Denis, Livaja, Moralez, Parra
