“To be truly calm, we must have belief in what we are doing, regardless of the results,” said Coach Donadoni.

“We need to focus on this aspect and not lose sight of the reality of the situation. There’s no need to over-complicate matters.

“We have to be careful against Torino, as they can defend with six or seven men and attack with just as many. They are a tough side with great spirit and perfectly represent Toro.

“It will take patience to find a way through, so we mustn’t allow them spaces to slip passes in. I don’t want to see Parma be frenetic and make mistakes.”

Gabriel Paletta has recovered, but Andrea Coda is out and Ishak Belfodil needs a late fitness test.

“Our problem so far has been that we don’t make the most of our scoring opportunities. This team doesn’t have very prolific players, apart from Amauri, who is coming off some difficult seasons.

“We need to be more daring and show less fear.”

Parma squad for Torino: Bajza, Mirante, Pavarini; Benalouane, Lucarelli, MacEachen, Mesbah, Paletta; Ampuero, Galloppa, Gobbi, Marchionni, Morrone, Ninis, Parolo, Rosi, Strasser, ValdesAmauri, Belfodil, Biabiany, Boniperti, Palladino, Sansone
