Lazio defender Lorik Cana has admitted that their Europa League quarter-final against Fenerbahce changed after Ogenyi Onazi's sending off.
The Nigerian centre-back was given a second yellow after only 47 minutes in Istanbul on Thursday evening.
And the Albanian has conceded that going down to 10 men, as well as the awarding of a controversial penalty to the Turkish team, contributed to the 2-0 loss.
“After the sending off of Onazi, it was the start of another game,” he told Mediaset. “They pushed a lot more and we defended ourselves.
“We did quite well, but then there goal came from a penalty – and that seemed a little harsh.
“With good spirit we can reverse the situation.”
