The tactician’s contract with the FIGC runs out in July 2014, straight after the tournament in Brazil.

Prandelli has hinted he could walk away from the job at that time, as it would be the end of his four-year tenure.

According to SportMediaset today, Milan have shown an interest in luring Prandelli back to club football.

It would also fit in with the timing, as current Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s deal expires in June 2014.

Prandelli has been a Coach at Atalanta, Lecce, Verona, Venezia, Parma, briefly Roma and then at Fiorentina from 2005 to 2010.
