Cagliari’s Radja Nainggolan has doubts over Napoli’s reported interest in him following Sunday’s tweet by Azzurri chief Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Following the explosive 3-2 win over the Sardinian outfit, ADL wrote: “I dedicate this victory to CellinoAstori and Nainggolan.”

Speaking to Radio Sportiva on Wednesday, the Belgium international admitted that he was "surprised" by such a comment.

“The words were so few that it is hard to understand whether that tweet was a compliment or whether he was mocking us,” the 24-year-old said.

“I would like to know what he would have written had Lorenzo Insigne not scored in the 94th minute.

“Anyhow, I wasn’t offended. The problem is that I was reading about an interest from Napoli and that was nice. Then you have this phrase and you understand that perhaps that interest is not really there.”

Nainggolan is accustomed to seeing his name in the transfer rumour mill and he’s again set to be a wanted man in the summer.

“It’s too soon to talk about the future,” added the former Piacenza player who has also been linked with Juventus” data-scaytid=”16″>Juventus and Milan in the past.

“Russia? I had a couple of offers, especially in January, but I didn’t want to leave in mid-season when the team was in difficulty.”
