Inter are forced to sign defender Silvestre on a permanent basis from Palermo despite the disappointing loan campaign, as it was agreed in their contract in the summer.

Milan saw midfielder Nocerino as a crucial figure last term, but he has struggled to find any playing time this season and is eager for a move elsewhere.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the two San Siro sides are prepared to solve these respective problems by exchanging the players.

Nocerino would go to bolster the Inter midfield, while Argentine defender Silvestre would lower the average age of the Milan back line.
