“Nothing is easy in Serie A and there’s nothing easy about this game,” warned Ballardini.

“An extremely difficult and complicated match awaits us. I continue urging my team to ‘rip our opponents to shreds’ in a sporting sense with the right determination.

“We must focus only on our own result and the dangers of this game with Pescara. There is nothing else in our minds and I risk being boring by repeating it so many times, but it has to be done.”

Borriello is part of the squad despite hip problems over the last few days, but Juraj Kucka, Marco Rossi, Ruben Olivera and Damiano Ferronetti are injured.
