Pogba banned for three games

Paul Pogba’s season is over after the Juventus midfielder was banned for three games after his dismissal against Palermo.

The heavy punishment was expected after the 20-year-old was sent off for spitting in the direction of Palermo stopper Salvatore Aronica.

Given that there are just three games left this term, the former Manchester United youngster’s campaign has been brought to a premature end.

Meanwhile, eight other players will miss the midweek round after picking up one-match bans this afternoon.

They are: Da Silva (Siena), Lucarelli (Parma), Boateng (Milan), Domizzi (Udinese), Donati (Palermo), Guarente (Bologna), Larangeira (Udinese), Pinzi (Udinese).
