The representative of Marco Verratti has once again rubbished reports that Real Madrid are in talks for the Paris Saint-Germain man.

Stories today have claimed that FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti, who has close links with Real, has been asked to set-up the move.

However, Donato Di Campli has told calciomercato.it that the 20-year-old midfielder will remain in the French capital.

“There has been no meeting with Bronzetti, absolutely not,” Di Campli noted. “I’m in Abruzzo, celebrating my birthday with family.

“The rumours about Real Madrid are false and Marco will stay in Paris.”

The Italian international moved to PSG last summer after a €12m fee was agreed with Pescara. He put pen to paper on a contract until 2017.

The rumour mill is suggesting that should Carlo Ancelotti be named as the new Real boss then he’d like to take the youngster with him.

Verratti is now valued at €25m.
