Inter chief Massimo Moratti has cooled reports that the Italian club could soon have Indonesian investors.

According to stories on Wednesday, the giants were close to doing a deal with an unnamed group which would lead to a significant cash injection at San Siro.

“The only contact Inter has had with international firms regarding the building of a new stadium are, for the moment, just an initial display of interest,” a statement from Moratti read.

“I will be in a position to consider them as and when that interest becomes more concrete, although this matter is not our priority at the moment.

“Therefore I can only dismiss the reports I read in this morning's national Press, regarding a possible deal with an Indonesian group, or indeed any of the other firms quoted.”

Inter are hoping to find new partners who can help them achieve their desire to build a new purpose built arena in the city.
