“On August 10 I will reach 40,” he told Argentine radio station Rock and Closs. “My intention is to play again after this injury.

“I hope to be here for another season.

“There are no valid reasons to replace Stramaccioni,” he added. “Anyway, the President has given Andrea his full confidence.”
