Striker Amauri has officially extended his contract with Parma until June 2016.

The Brazilian with Italian nationality put pen to paper on a new deal this afternoon, as confirmed by his agent posting a picture on Twitter.

Amauri was shown smiling with President Tommaso Ghirardi and director Pietro Leonardi, pen in hand over the paperwork.

He turns 33 next month and first joined Parma in 2001, although he never played for them and went straight out on loan.

The forward returned in January 2011 for a six-month loan spell from Juventus” data-scaytid=”16″>Juventus, then made it his permanent home in June 2012.
