Udinese hitman Antonio Di Natale warns he has no intention of retiring. “I want to reach 200 Serie A goals.”

The 35-year-old striker was runner-up in the Capocannoniere stakes this season with 23 goals and had hinted in recent months he was considering retirement.

“I do feel like the oldest striker in Serie A,” he smiled at an end of season event at the Stadio Friuli.

“Now I want to enjoy a vacation with my family, then I’ll talk to the President. I want to reach 200 goals in Serie A.”

Di Natale is currently on 176 top flight goals, 158 of them scored with the Udinese jersey.

“I’ve been here in Udine for 10 years and I feel like part of the family, so we hope to have another great campaign next year.

“If we are able to finish in the top five and take a European spot off another side, it’s because we deserve it.”
