Seedorf and Maldini for Milan

The Corriere dello Sport claims that Milan will hire Clarence Seedorf as their new boss, as well as bringing Paolo Maldini back to the club.

The Dutchman, currently playing for Brazilian side Botafogo, is being tipped to be handed a three-year contract at Milanello to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Seedorf only left the Diavolo last summer after spending a decade with the Italian and European giants.

He, however, will not be the only legend to return. Maldini is also set to be part of the new set-up at the club.

The 44-year-old spent over 20 seasons with the outfit before bringing his glittering career to an end in 2009.

He’s been out of the game since hanging up his boots, but the man who won 126 caps for his country is set to be handed an opportunity to return to San Siro.

Maldini, according to the Corriere, will apparently take an interest in club transfers, as well interacting closely with the complex character of Seedorf.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani will meet present boss Allegri this morning to discuss his future.

Allegri is expected to be shown the door, thus making him available to join Roma. He will apparently take assistant Mauro Tassotti with him to the capital.
