With the goalkeepers working separately, the main group was split into two, with one composing of Mario Balotelli, Alessandro Diamanti, Daniele De Rossi, Alberto Aquilani, Sebastian Giovinco and Marco Sau.

Both groups alternated in athletic work, shooting practice and muscle toning, with the first group worked much longer than the second on the main pitch.

Mario Balotelli was the last to leave training, following a long discussion with technical staff.
