The Biancocelesti beat Roma 1-0 at Stadio Olimpico last weekend, and the Brazil international has admitted that he is still beaming from the result, whilst also commenting on his future.
“I'm still happy and I think I will be for quite a while,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “It really was an unforgettable day.
“It's hard to explain the emotion I felt at the final whistle. We wanted it so badly, and luckily we won.
“People who do not live in Rome cannot understand how important that match was.
“For both teams it was the last chance to win a trophy, and thankfully we managed to win it.
“It was something really special, probably the most beautiful moment of my career.
“There is no problem with my contract,” the playmaker added. “We have had a chat and there is nothing to worry about.
“I feel great at Lazio. I can assure that rumours of my departure are not true.”
