The Samsung Premia il Talento has rounded down 3,000 applicants to a group of 66 finalists, who will be split into six teams based on age – 14-15, 16-17 and 18-25 – and compete for one of the two contracts on offer.

Judges at the event include Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni, captain Stefano Morrone, head of youth development at the club Francesco Palmieri and former Argentine striker Hernan Crespo.

Lecce will be represented by Antonio Tesoro, CEO and technical director for the current Lega Pro Prima Divisione side.

Ciro Ferrara, Domenico Criscito, volleyball player Francesca Piccinini and fencer Margherita Granbassi will all also be in attendance, as will chef Davide Oldani, who will run a sports nutrition piece.
