Antonio Cassano is still in the plans of Inter for the 2013-14 campaign, the player’s agent has commented.

“He’ll stay at Inter,” Beppe Bozzo, whose client had a falling out with former boss Andrea Stramaccioni this year, told Tuttosport.

“I think that Inter will have a great squad at their disposal next season too,” continued the representative.

“President Massimo Moratti will buy players who will fit in with new Coach Walter Mazzarri’s style of play.

“They’ll also benefit in the new season from not having any European commitments to deal with.”

The 30-year-old Cassano, who joined the club last summer from city rivals Milan, is only contracted until 2014.

Meanwhile, Bozzo was also asked about rumours that Genoa and the Beneamata could swap Alberto Gilardino and Ezequiel Schelotto.

“That is a possibility and we have the time to turn that into something more…”

Italian international Gilardino spent last season on loan at Bologna, while the winger was netted by the San Siro side from Atalanta in January.
